Hi,
I lived in Portrane for a while in Healy's Lane and needed to move back into the city for a while due to circumstances. I am just wondering if there is any chalets or cottages available for rent around, cos I would love to move back out again!!!
Please let me know if you know of anything available even in any of the other parts of Fingal apart from Swords

Hi,
My G Great Grandparents, Thomas Fulham & Thomasina
Fulham nee Smart, had a Farm at the end of the Burrow Road.
Thomasina died 1879 & Thomas in 1913.
I've visited Donabate & Portrane a couple of times & seen a few Fulham Graves, but none for the
couple named above. Possibly an unmarked Grave?

Any help would be more than welcome.
Cheers,
Terry Fulham.

The man to contact about anything historical in Donabate/Portrane is Peadar Bates. You should be able to contact him by enquiring at the Post Office in Donabate. The Smart family is still in the area as there is an accountancy practice in Donabate run by a lady who married into the Smart Family. She uses her married name in the practice so she shouldn't be too hard to trace.

Christine Smart is the lady's name.

Her husband Derry was the foreman who built most of the Viking Houses in Turvey Ave.
