Donabate Dentist too pricey
No way I totally disagree with js34.. I know a woman whose car is sitting in her garden . She will not drive it as she has no tax, She had to pay over ?300 to above mentioned dentist as she needed a filling! A filling that would have cost her half the price anywhere else..

Lynam in Swords, up near the lights where you turn for the pavillions, My mother went there yesterday and got two teeth pulled. ?50 for both!!!

She overheard a conversation stating "Well it will be ?50 now because the filling is very very big"!
She is going back to get them deep cleaned in a fortnight- whole mouth. In Donabate Dentist she paid ?60 for a quarter of her mouth! and not impreseed with the service..(Also it s the only place that i have personally heard of that cleans a quarter of your mouth at a time!!) My mother does not like Dentists but would recommend Lynam to anyone!

She had a conversation with a woman the other day who says since she went to Donabate Dentist her teeth are worse, she will never go there again!!

Im sure js34 that if you were going to get your car service you would shop around for Service, good quality for your money and a welcoming and friendly service!!

And would you go top a place where the comments were as above?

Ferrero, The lady mentioned did not take your advise and shop around then? and did not query the price before she got the work done? as you mentioned we all should shop around. Extractions are cheaper as social insurance cover a chunk of it if not all of it.
Look its horses for courses,Its a pity the lady cant now afford to tax her car because she didnt shop around. Its a question of opinion all I am telling you is that I found the service excellent and the premises Modern, Clean and technically sound.

In The news recently ,Dentists are to be regulatedby the Government and urgently .currently a dentist is not allowed by the dental association to produce a price list for examination by the Public .when they are questioned regarding the price differential of Dentists abroad ,there response is so coordinated its amazing ,they will tell you that they have to correct at great expense work done abroad.I think that is scare tactics and I believe there day is coming soon to be more accountable to their clients,
and that is the whole point.
on a funny note I was parked at the back of supervalue and heard roaring coming from an open window at the back wasnt sure it was the Dentist or the creche .my bet is the Dentist from what I have heard above

I agree. I used this dentist last year, to get a regular check up. I ended up paying ?180. They charged me for a first visit, plus been charged for a clean. They also did an x-ray, which I didn't request. I was told it was necessary. If I had of known how much it was going to cost, i would have said no.

They are extremely expensive compared to most other practices.
