| Donabate Dentist too pricey |

This dentist is a good example of total rip-off!
Had to get a wisdom tooth removed, got the left one done in Malahide, where i paid 110?, which i found fair.
I had to get the other one removed so i went to the Donabate dentist, got an appointment asked about the price and she said it would cost me 45? for Xrays, 45? to create a file for me(???) and another 90 that would cover the removal. I told her to book me in but that i would not pay 180?.
So anyway, i went to my appointment, got in the room and asked about the price before i even sat down,
She confirmed me the 45? Xrays, the 45? file creation, dont remember how much ? for the visit and told me i had to come back on the saturday to get it removed by a specialist for a cost of 240?, all in all then it would have come to more than 400? to get 1 wisdom tooth removed! I asked why she could not get it done herself the same day and she replied that the specialist would do it on the saturday. hmm hmmm. I still dont understand why a specialist had to be involved in something that takes basically 10 minutes of work!! Anyway, i told them what i thought, that it s unbelievable and dishonnest to be charging more than 400? for that, that they were thiefs and that they should call the "patients" CLIENTS! |
