| Hi Snapper, This is the second time that someone's referenced Newbridge as an alternative site. Where did this come from, I wonder? |

But what about the birds in Newbridge House ? Have they been consulted on this matter ???
Seriously - not sure of all the arguments for and against the proposed academy but I would have thought that the impact on wildlife really would have been minimal. Certainly in comparison with the massive Tesco depot with who knows how many people going in and out there both day and night not to mention the lighting issue - Tesco's can probably be seen from outer space !
I am all for wildlife and conservation but I think those opposing the academy have been a bit ott and it's an opportunity lost - shame. |

Sydney I read about the new sites in the evening Herald a green field site in Rush and Newbridge park are the new contenders.
We really can't take this building we dont have the access for it...look at the roundabout as it is now and theres only room for two cars turning right in to Turvey avenue if you by pass the round about...I really think FCC are acting the maggot.
Rush has feck all services for transport either...its a joke! |

| Thanks Snapper! Is it wrong that I smile wryly every time I think of FCC. I wish I worked there! |

| The best trick the council pulled was branding this an Academy. It's a league of ireland soccer stadium. |
