Keelings menu and management
I was in Keelings again last night for another pub quiz.
It was an enjoyable night but an incident took place which I thought was worth mentioning.

I ordered a round of drinks, one of which was an Erdinger Non-Alcoholic (for me).

There was none in stock so I order a coffee and made a comment to the barman about losing a fortune (joke) because of no non-alco beer.

10 minutes later a bottle of Erdinger Blue arrived on my my table,COMPLIMENTS OF THE HOUSE, and a message to say that there were 10 bottles more in stock if I wanted to get any more.

Now that is customer service if ever I saw it. I came away with a great impression of the place and even though I'm not a drinker, I would have to say that I ws very impressed with that kind of service and would try to visit the bar again in future.

We post complaints far quicker tham compliments but crdit should be given where it is due.

Well done Keelings Pub.

That's great to hear johnny. Hope you enjoyed the quiz. The one glitch that I learned of when talking to the organisers last night that Keelings don't have a PA system so anyone using their facilities has to provide their own. A bit of a downer when funds being raised for charity have to be used for something like this although I think last night the use of the equipment was donated for the cause but that will not always be the case.

Would it not be a prudent purchase to bring in a PA system of their own for such charity events? After all they are benefiting hugely from these events being held there.

Well done Pat and Rob on what I believe was a very successful night!
