Was I too late putting it out on Saturday, or did the green bin collection not arrive at the Links?

got this back from Oxigen:
A collection went ahead on Saturday morning.
Only 20per cent of bins were presented for collection @ 7.10 on the collection day.
All bins presented were collected.
To accomodate our customers we can allow you to leave two large refuse sacks beside the bin for the next collection.
Bins must be left out before 7am on collection dayto avoid non collection. |

| Thanks for that. I had heard that the collectors were present very early in one part of the estate. |

| The green bins were collected again earlier today. The lorry arrived in the estate at 6:50. I thought that the bins were supposed to be out before 7:30? |

7 am they said.
Was kicking myself, as I thought it was a once off due to the easter break. Looks like standard now.
That's a full green bin for another two feckin weeks.

| On the morning in Question I was in my kitchen, 9.20am I had just left my green bin out and to my anger I saw the Oxigen truck turn about a hundred yards away from my house. I was furious as you can imagine!! I immediately phoned the office and the lady said that the driver said there was no bin out!! I assured her there was and that the driver didnt bother to drive the whole way down the road,(I insinuated that he wanted to finish early due to the fact it was Easter weekend, She totally dismissed that comment!!!) I asked her for the drivers name but she could not give it but gave me her name and she did say that tye cakk would be logged!! Whatever about FCC the black bins are always collected and we are never left with full bins for another two weeks especially when you go to the trouble of bringing them out!!!!! |
