Field on the Hearse Rd
Does anyone know what the ppl in the field on the Hearse Rd are doing? I've seen them over the last couple of weeks and my curiosity has gotten the better of me.

Isn't it usually done by machine?
Is it some kind of work scheme? Seems outdated. Hmmm

thats what i was thinking, usually they use machines to plough the fields i was just curious as to what type of crop warrants 20 ppl or so to physically do the job.

I'd have thought scallions would be too delicate to harvest with large scale machinery.

Vlad, scallions have only been in that field this year.
I have only ever seen spuds and wheat there before.
I think thats what is meant by ploughs been used.

The smell when they are been picked is unreal...driving past you get a mouthful....I;m not complaining though "S"
