Yes if you want to chat you have to go either out the back garden or into the snug or the locals local middle bar, not really option C if Carlsberg did pubs.
The loud music is to encourage you to drink more.

That's gas. I was in on Saturday night and I have to agree the music in the lounge was waaaaaaaaaay too loud. Had to move to the snug. I felt old. We could have had a forum AGM if only we knew who we all were!!! By the way yummy. You weren't the reubenesque (and I use that term sparingly) lady standing near the bar in the lounge for the night were you? If so get out of that SUV and walk to the gym!!
