| Tesco Wind Turbine Planning Application |
|
I think it's a great idea having the wind turbine... Just wished that they would reduce the amount of lights that they have on at night time around the storage facility???
You would thing that they were expecting a delivery from outer space with all the lights!!
Maybe E.T might want to stop of there for a quick litre of milk while his on his way home after abducting humans at work and turning them in to members of the green party and fienna fail.
I think he might stop for a six pack of dutch gold cider instead!! You would need it after the crap TD's spin out... |

Johnny / Beach Boy
Have you guys lost the plot?
This a turbine originally requested to be 100 metres hight ( the spike is 120 metres high)
Yes we are all on for renewable energy, but at what cost?
This will blight the landscape and will be seen for miles just like the Tesco Warehouse that be clearly visible. Tesco should consider the community and think long and hard about this. Tesco have not been very good neighbours with light pollution. If you look at the original planning application they were to plant trees to screen the area off at the hearse road.Nothing happened. |

Well said Gizmo. It's about the size of a 30 story apartment block.
It's not Fingal running the turbine and it's not Fingal who benefit from the Turbine. It's Tesco who have been bad neighbours. They don't give a cr*p what the area looks like as can be seen from their alien space station. They only care about the money.
