Goings on at the video shop this evening
The early evening action was in real life as opposed to on DVD outside Films 4U2C around 6.00 tonight.

There was a woman sitting on the ground at the door, obviously out of her tree. Apparently, she had attempted to rob the place and the Gardai had been called. There were nothing apparently stopping here from getting away though, but she seemed more interested in shouting insults at the curious crowd that had gathered around her as if enjoying a freak show in bygone days.

Anyone know the rest of the story.

You know, this mightn't be a bad way for the shop to stay in business. Just put on some daily entertainment for the passing parade. Be kind rewind!:)

Well backpacker I did not see what went on tonight but last friday night i went to supervalue and the amount of gangs in the mall was unreal.Now we were all teenagers and yes some of us hung around but the abuse that the security guy took from these gangs was terrible.He was kindly asking them to move on and they would not move for him. When he turned to walk back to the shop one guy threw an empty can at the back of his head.when they got outside they shouted abuse at him.I hope this is a one off and this trend does not continue.Maybe they need a youth club or a clip around the ear.

I remember a few years ago giving one to a lad oF about 10 for spitting on me he threaten me with telling his mother.
I am not a violent person but trust mE she would have got one too if she had called me on it!! did I mention I was heavily pregnant and he was ona BIKE PUT I CAUGHT HIM ....AH TO BE FIT AGAIN.."s"

I'm sure the incident was caught on CTV, was she a blonde lady late 20's 30ish looking a bit rough? just curious incase it was squatter lady I have seen on the loose.

I was in the video shop when this happened. The "lady" in question had been causing hassle in the shop, throwing dvds at the staff and racially abusing them. They escorted her off the premises, at which point she claimed they had broken her foot and demanded an ambulance.
