Is the bus still going?
Hi,
I have to renew my yearly train pass. Is it worth my while to upgrade so I can get the bus as well?

What's the service like these days?

Thanks.

Also, if I just upgrade to the standard train and bus pass does that suffice?

I'd hate to upgrade only to find out that because it's a special express bus I am not covered.

Thanks again.

The standard bus and rail ticket will cover you. It's still going. Leaves Portrane at 7.30 in the morning and is at Donabate at 7.40. Gets into Tara St at about 8.10 and is at the Green before 8.20 most mornings.
Leaves town at 5.45 in the evenings and is in Donabate at about 6.15.
I have given up getting the train in the morning. The realibility and punctuality has gone to the dogs.

My plan is to alternate. Is that ok? I heard the Dublin bus don't like people doing this and are very mean to them.

I think they just make you walk through the port tunnel

I heard that. I also heard they asked someone to get out at the roundabout and left them there to starve.

That would explain the Buzzards.
