Where can I get a lawnmower blade sharpened?
Title speaks for itself :-)
It's a single piece rotary blade for an electric mower.
Any ideas? A hardware shop nearby maybe?
Thanks!

There's a place on the new part of Turvey Road in the small industrial estate at the juntion with the R132. It's called A&L Machinery. They sell and service lawnmowers.

Redser, it's very, very easy to sharpen the blade yourself. A hand file and a whet stone will do the trick. Also as it's an electric mower you may not even need to remove the blade (fuel spills from motor mower when tilted). Try typing "how to sharpen lawn mower blades" in Youtube for some tutorials.

Thanks Yelruf. I had looked up a few things and vids on Youtube. Even bought a file and gave it a go. But it's a heavy duty piece of iron and there are a good few deep nicks in it. My arm is hanging off and it made virtually no impact. I Rang A&L and they can do it for a tenner. So I'm happy with that.
