Bye bye
Dear Citizens,
Donabate Train station used to have nice red brick paths on both sides. Fingal Classy Council have now tarmacked them out of existence.

Anyone else annoyed about this?

It's good to talk.

It is badly finished. Really rough job. Is the drain a new feature? It's still sticky on Monday.

It is not just sticky, the edges are not straight or flush. I wonder have the Malahide Sea Scouts told them yet?

Also the previous brick work looked well. Why get rid of it?

All is not lost folks. Our Biodiversity friends in Fingal CoCo will chip in with a bed of weeds. Hats of to Fingal CoCo and Iarnrod Eireann, Donabate has never looked so well and to imagine we are still only in the 'transition phase'. Can't wait for the final result. It should do wonders for the value of property.
