Methadone Clinic
I'm curious.

Is there still a Methadone Clinic in the Parish? I thought there was one in St Ita's during the time of the Pharmacists strike but happened to notice a steady trickle of possible addicts to the area yesterday but did not see whether they were going to a Pharmacy or St Ita's.

I want to make it quite clear that I could be completely wrong (and hope that I am) but I am still curious.

Methadone Clinic
Interesting post Lorainne. I was in the Doctors suregery when a guy staggered in asking to see a Doctor. After a prolonged look at him, his condition, general appearence and behaviour, it was hard not to form an opinion that he reliant on a substance of some sort. He was also trying to roll a cigarette in the waiting room and behaving furtively. His accent wasn't local and seemed more like that of someone who lives much closer to the city centre.

I got seen to in the Docs, and when I left, the guy was outside with a mate. It looked like he wasn't seen to, and he was clearly somewhat aggrieved and swearing angrily.

Anyone seen this person about the place?
