hi there my family used to live in portrane in burrow road my nan maureen obrien and micheal o brien my cousins emma sharon auntie pat etc.. have not seen them for years would like to get in touch e mail me if anyone knows of them iam maeves daughter i used to visit loads when i was little x

Hello Joanne.
I was just browsing the Portrane/donabate website and I came across your not from late last year. My name is Sean Buckley. I left Portrane in 1967 and have lived in Calgary, Alberta since then. My brother Maurice and sister Anne still live in The Burrow. I have great memories of your Grandad, MJP O'Brien(!) from my childhood and indeed, I think of him often - he was a great character. I will be visiting Portrane in Jan 2006 and I'm sure I'll see your Aunt Pat. If you ever travel out this way, be sure to contact me.
